How Is Calcium Score Different from an Exercise Stress Test (EST)?

Calcium Score enables early detection of arterial changes or deterioration, even at the initial stages of disease development.
In contrast, an Exercise Stress Test (EST) evaluates blood flow to the heart during physical exertion or increased cardiac workload. When coronary arteries become significantly narrowed, blood flow is restricted, leading to chest discomfort and detectable changes in the heart’s electrical activity during exercise. As a result:
